Born on October 1, 1977, Ms. Kasegrande earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wagner College. In 2003, she earned a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
From 2003 until 2009 Ms. Kasegrande held the position of Associate Legal Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the NYSE Group and its technology affiliate, the Securities Industry Automation Company. In 2009 she joined Russo, Scamardella & D’Amato.
Ms. Kasegrande is the managing associate in the Firm’s Estate Planning and Administration Department. She specializes in all aspects of estate and trust administration and litigated will contest matters.
Ms. Kasegrande also provides advice and counsel on a full range of elder law and estate planning issues including, death and incapacity planning, gift and estate tax issues and asset protection (Medicaid planning). Her work in this area includes drafting of wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), powers of attorney and medical directives.
She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Inc., The Staten Island Women’s Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association and New York Bar Association. Mrs. Kasegrande is also involved with The Board of Trustees of the Staten Island Children's Museum and Eger Lutheran Homes and Services.
