Michael V. Gervasi


Born on March 2, 1977, in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Gervasi earned a Bachelor of the Arts in American History from the State University of New York at Albany. In 2002, he earned a Juris Doctorate from New York Law School and joined the Law Firm of Russo, Scamardella & D’Amato, P.C. He is admitted to practice in New York State Courts; New Jersey State Courts; the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York; the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York; and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Gervasi litigates commercial and business disputes, personal injury cases, wrongful death cases, business entity dissolutions, estate matters, insurance coverage disputes, land disputes, and appellate practice. His dedication to clients’ causes and his researched arguments make him an effective advocate for the firm’s clients. Mr. Gervasi has successfully litigated several complex and high-profile cases resulting in substantial verdicts and settlements.

Mr. Gervasi currently serves on the Staten Island YMCA Board of Managers, as a Committee Member of the Richmond County Republican Party, as Treasurer of the Molinari Republican Club; and as President of the Staten Island Soccer Referee Association. He has co-authored several articles published in the Richmond County Bar Association’s Law Journal. Mr. Gervasi is also a member of New York State Bar Association; Richmond County Bar Association; New York State Association of Trial Lawyers; American Association of Justice; American Bar Association (Litigation Section).
